A little about me
Here is a Melbourne based artist and musician with roots in classical voice, music-theatre, jazz, and contemporary pop. Francesca Li Donni, is an accomplished singer, songwriter, composer. In fact, she’s been singing and playing piano since before she could reach the pedals. She was the drummer in all of her high-school bands and after graduating, dreaded her locks, and became the front-woman for dub-reggae band ‘The Moon Project’, which toured for over three years.
Fran formalised this life-long ambition by completing a Bachelor of Music in performance in 2009 and shortly after moved to Ireland where she spent several years teaching and gigging with various cover bands from pub to Irish pub. Now back in Australia and married to the sound designer of her dreams, Fran teaches students of all ages in voice and piano and is passionate about developing and encouraging young artists to perform.
With a voice that’s best described as being the love-child of Nora Jones and Adele; Francesca is a versatile performer, fluent in a spectrum of musical styles and genres, she performs either self-accompanied on piano or supported by her guitarist as an acoustic duo act. Fran is full of life and celebrates love in all its forms. She’s energetic, sassy, and ready to help make your celebration one to remember. By collaborating closely on your event, she’ll be able to personalise the perfect soundtrack for every special moment.
